With this in mind, I’m developing Online Rental Property Schedule, a website designed to help Australian rental property owners organise their rental income and expenses.

The aim is to provide a straightforward online tool where you can record your property’s income and expenses throughout the financial year, then prepare a rental property schedule to share with your accountant.
You might prefer to update your records regularly, catch up every few months, or enter everything when preparing for tax time. The website is being developed with that flexibility in mind.
The focus is on making the process clear and practical, whether you have one rental property or several.
You’ll also be able to email your rental property report directly to your accountant before your appointment, along with any notes or questions you would like to discuss. This will give your accountant an opportunity to review the information beforehand and help you both make the most of your appointment.
Built with accounting experience
As an accountant, I regularly see how much easier preparing a rental property tax return becomes when the supporting records are complete and well organised.
This project draws on that experience, with the goal of helping property owners bring the information together in a useful format.
The website will help you organise your records. Your accountant will still have an important role in reviewing the information and determining the appropriate tax treatment.
